Katie and I thought it would be funny to dress festively for the presidential election. We also wanted to see if Jon would notice our matching themed outfits. He did notice and dared me to wear my festive scarf while completing my errands. Never one to back down from a dare, I went for it. Before I left the house I noticed my scarf still had the tag on it. While removing it, I read the words "made in Korea". I felt especially patriotic then. We did get one comment on our red, white, and blue ensembles while at the grocery store. A lady told me she loved my scarf. This very special scarf was given to me a few years ago by an Elvis impersonator.
